Fly Me to the Moon is the story of three spirited and curious pre-teen flies who live across from Cape Canaveral in 1969 and dream of going into space. This thrilling animated 3D feature film will connect a new generation of children and their parents to the adventure and excitement of space exploration, experienced via stunning visuals that draw upon one of mankind's most memorable, historical moments: man's first landing on the moon.

League of Women Voters of Marion Election Forum

Contested local and state legislative candidates will answer questions and participate in a 90-minute debate-type forum that will be broadcast live by WMRN, with news program director Michael Nolting serving as moderator. Candidates night will be videotaped by Time Warner Cable for a program to be aired on Channel 18 the weekend before Election Day. Audience guests in attendance can submit a question to one of the candidates.

"Produce It!" is an education initiative from Time Warner Cable that encourages high school students to develop a television public service announcement (PSA) with a message on the importance of healthy nutrition and physical activity. Students or student teams can win cash for themselves and their schools. Plus the winning PSA will air on 40 Time Warner Cable channels! The top 10 finalists will air on Local On Demand, Channel 1 or 1111, where viewers will pick the winner. Plus, Time Warner Cable will donate $1, up to $5,000 for each view received by the 10 finalist PSAs, to Children’s Hunger Alliance, and the donation will be made jointly in the winning school’s name.
