Choose various settings in Guide Setup including Audio Output, Guide Colors, Favorites, PINs, Locks and Screen Saver.
Two very handy features are Locks Setup and Favorites Setup. They each offer you easy ways to control what you and your family watch on TV. Want to block shows with adult language? No problem. Only interested in Sports channels? The networks you want to watch will be waiting in your customized Favorites list.
And as your needs change, so can your controls. A few simple commands from your remote will let you reset the channels that appear as your personal favorites or what your children can watch, even when you’re not there.

- Select “Setup” from the Main Menu, then “Guide Setup”
- Use the left/right arrows to change the settings for the Flip Bar, Message Indicator, and more

- Press the "Heart" Icon on the Quick Menu or the Program Info screen to make a channel a Favorite
- To access Favorites Lists, press the “Heart” icon from the Quick Menu or the “Fav” button on your remote to bring up the last accessed Favorites List
- To add or delete channels to Favorites List, select the Favorite List to edit from the Favorites Setup Menu and select the “Heart” icon to add or delete a channel
- Set up as many as 5 Favorites Lists and manage your Favorites lists by selecting Setup from the Main Menu, then Favorites Setup

- Select the “Lock” icon from the Quick Menu or Program Info screen to lock the current TV program
- Enter a 4-digit PIN and follow the on-screen prompts to lock by Title, Channel or Rating
- Manage and adjust your Parental Controls by selecting “Parental Controls” from the Main Menu, then select “Locks Setup”
- Use the right/left arrows to set up locks by Title, by TV Rating, by Movie Rating, by Channel or to Hide Adult Titles
- You can also restrict ordering by setting up Locks for On Demand, by selecting “Service Locks Setup” from the Setup Menu
- To view Locked programs, tune to the program or select from the listings and enter your 4-digit PIN. Or, after the kids are in bed, you can bypass all Locks by selecting Master Locks from the Locks Setup Menu
