Vintage Vehicle Show
There is a place on Lincoln Community Programming to find cars that crank, rumble seats and muscle cars. The “Vintage Vehicle Show” is an hour-long tour of the most beautiful vintage automobiles in the Midwest. The program is a compilation of two years searching car shows, swap meets, museums, salvage yards, and personal collections.
You get to hear from the owners who put time and money into restoring vehicles going back all the way to Model T’s and Model A’s. And you get to look under the hood in the driver’s seat to see all the things that make these cars unique and truly classic.
“Vintage Vehicle Show” airs on LCC-TV channel 13, Wednesdays at 9 p.m. and Fridays at 9 p.m.
The Metro Show
Ron Halvorson is no stranger to Lincoln Community Access. If you’ve ever seen Your Metro Connection, The Fill-In Show, The Ron Halvorson Show, or Behind the Scenes you start to realize that Ron Halvorson has got a lot of information to get out. “The Metro Show” is no different.
On this show, the Ron Halvorson personality is focused on the events going on in the Lincoln/Omaha area and the people that make them happen. In most episodes, Ron can be found interviewing local entertainers about upcoming local events and in recent shows he has talked to local musicians, dancers, singers, and event coordinators.
“The Metro Show” airs on LCC-TV channel 13, Wednesdays 9:30 a.m., Fridays 6:30 p.m., and Saturdays 4:30 p.m.
Critter Corner
Lincoln's Capital Human Society produces Critter Corner every week. The majority of the show is devoted to showcasing the animals the Human Society has available for adoption. The show not only has dogs, cats, birds, gerbils, ferrets up for adoption, but also tips to help you care for your new pet.
The Pet Minute segment on the show gives helpful tips on pet grooming, house training, and first aid. The program can be very useful to people with pets, or people looking to add a new member to their family.
