Spotlight Awards
Each May, Time Warner Cable - Nebraska presents the Spotlight Awards, cash prizes and an LCD Project as a way to recognize and reward local educators for their innovative use of technology in the classrooms.

TWC National Teachers Awards 

Time Warner Cable honors 15 classroom projects and the teachers who develop them win the Time Warner Cable National Teacher Award. They also receive a $2,000 cash award and a crystal apple sculpture at a gala awards ceremony each spring in Washington, DC. Specifically, the awards:
  • Recognize outstanding teachers who develop learning experiences using cable  television programming or technology
  • Encourage the development and effective use of Cable in the Classroom educational programs
  • Stimulate a national exchange of innovative ideas and programs among educators
