Q. What is PayXPress?
A. PayXpress is Time Warner Cable's new free bill payment option that lets you schedule and make payments as well as receive and pay online. You can make payments anytime, anywhere, from almost any computer with Internet access. PayXpress also allows you the convenience of setting up recurring payments.
Q. Is PayXpress really free?
A. Yes. It's FREE! PayXpress is provided to Time Warner Cable customers as a convenience and at no additional charge.
Q. What payment methods are accepted?
A. Mastercard, VISA, American Express, debit cards and checking/saving accounts. Be sure that your debit card does not require a pin number with every transaction.
Q. Will I continue to receive a paper bill?
A. No, once you register for PayXpress your paper bill is discontinued. You will receive a Time Warner Cable E-Statement which will be made available for your viewing at least 10 days prior to the date that the amount of your balance due is charged to your credit card or debited to your debit card.
Q. How does Time Warner Cable's PayXpress service work?
A. When you first begin using the service, follow the simple on screen enrollment instructions. You will need to have your account number, phone number and zip code (account number is on your paper bill).
Once you have enrolled you can log into the service and establish your payment.

Q. Can I use my debit card to pay online?
A. Yes, you can use a debit card. However, it is advisable to first inquire with your bank before doing so, as you may encounter unexpected processing problems depending on the restrictions set by your bank for your card. Be sure that your debit card does not require a pin number with every transaction.
Q. How do I set up recurring payment?
A. It's best to start with a zero balance. Then follow the on-screen steps to set up recurring payment.
Q. What do I do if I have forgotten my Password?
A. Click on the link, "Forget Password?" on the log in screen. Your account number will be required, along with your zip code and the phone number on your account. After your identity is confirmed your password will be e-mailed to the primary e-mail on your account.

A. Click on the link, "Forget Log in ID?" on the log in screen. Your account number will be required, along with your zip code and the phone number on your account. After your identity is confirmed your password along with your Log in ID will be e-mailed to the primary e-mail on your account.
Q. Where can I find my account number?
A. You can find your account number on a recent Time Warner Cable bill. Please enter the first 9 digits of your account number including any leading zeros.
Q. What if my bank routing number does not work?
A. If the bank routing number does not work, the number may not match the bank routing number in the billing system. In this case, you will need to speak to a Customer Care representative:

A. Time Warner Cable's PayXpress service uses the following methods to ensure that your information is secure:
Log in ID and Password
Your log in ID and password are unique identifiers that only you know. If you don't share your user name and password with anyone, then no one else can sign into Time Warner Cable's PayXpress service site pretending to be you.
SSL
Time Warner Cable's PayXpress service uses SSL (secure socket layer) that ensures your connection and information is encrypted and secure both to and from the server.
Encryption
Time Warner Cable's PayXpress uses the highest available 128-bit encryption to make your information unreadable as it passes over the Internet.
Automatic Sign Out
For extra security Time Warner Cable's PayXpress automatically signs you out of a session if you are inactive for a period of time. We recommend you sign out and close your browser after you are finished scheduling and making payments.
Q. Do I need any special hardware to sign up for Time Warner Cable's PayXpress service?
A. No. There is no special hardware required to use this service.
Q. Do I need any special software to sign up for Time Warner Cable's PayXpress service?
A. Yes. You need Windows 98 or higher operating system and a supported browser to use the service.
For extra security, PayXpress requires a browser that is capable of 128 bit encryption. The tested and supported browsers include:
* Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher on a PC.
* Netscape 6.2 or higher on a PC.
* America Online version 6.0 or higher on a PC.

Q. Does PayXpress work on a Macintosh computer?
A. Yes and no. Currently Macintosh is not supported by Time Warner Cable PayXpress or PayXpress technicians. So any display or any other issues will not be addressed. PayXpress has been tested with a Macintosh running Internet Explorer version 5.2 and Safari 1.2.4 and works ok.
However, 4.5 Internet Explorer or less for Mac will not work properly. If you decide to use a Macintosh computer for PayXpress, then you do so at your own risk, as it is not recommnded or supported by Time Warner Cable PayXpress or PayXpress technicians.
Q. Does PayXpress work on a Linux based computer?
A. Currently Linux is not supported by Time Warner Cable PayXpress or PayXpress technicians. So any display or any other issues will not be addressed. If you decide to use a Linux computer for PayXpress, then you do so at your own risk, as it is not recommnded or supported by Time Warner Cable PayXpress or PayXpress technicians.
