Installation
For your convenience, all installation and service calls can be scheduled within a four hour period of time on the day of your appointment. It is necessary for the person (or spouse) whose name appears on the account to be home during the installation of your cable service. This will insure a thorough and complete installation that will allow you to become more familiar with your cable service and equipment. Adults At Home
We cannot enter your home to perform any service unless a responsible adult 18 years of age or older is present. While we recognize this may sometimes be an inconvenience, the policy is necessary to protect both you and our employees.
Moving?
Please notify us 48 hours before the day you move. We will schedule a disconnect appointment for you, or you may come to our cable office. If you are moving in our service area, let us know 7 to 10 days ahead of your moving date, we’ll be glad to schedule your installation. If moving out of this area, please be sure to return any Time Warner Cable equipment (converter boxes/remote controls).
Disconnect Policy
You may request that your cable service be disconnected at any time. However, you are responsible for payment of delivered services until disconnect notice is given. To avoid further liability, all converters must be returned to Time Warner Cable at the time of disconnection.
Additional Outlets
Additional cable outlets allow you to enjoy cable services on more than one TV at no additional monthly charge. Federal Government rules hold us responsible for insuring that our cable system does not "leak" electronic signals into the air. Therefore, any additional outlets that do not meet wiring specifications will be rewired and customers may be charged an installation fee for the additional outlet.
In most cases additional outlets cannot be added in apartments unless the complex has been prewired. In the event the customer is not the owner of the premises in which additional outlets are to be installed prior landlord permission may be needed.
Name Changes
If you need to change the name on your Time Warner Cable account please call our office for more information. Various items such as balances, cable equipment, and account information makes each name change transaction slightly different.
Late Fee Policy
A late fee may be charged on delinquent balances not paid by the date shown on your statement.
Your Channel Selector (Converter Box/Remote Control)
Converter boxes/remote controls are the property of Time Warner Cable and must be returned if you move or disconnect your cable service. If equipment is not returned, your account may be charged up to $150.00 for each converter and $25.00 for each remote control.
In addition, there is a $300.00 charge for each digital set top converter or modem and $25.00 for each remote control or VCR commanded not returned or damaged.
These charge also applies should the converter box/remote control be stolen from your home. There is also a charge for repairing converter boxes/remote controls that have been damaged beyond the normal usage.
