
Robert D. Marcus
Senior Executive Vice President
As Senior Executive Vice President for Time Warner Cable, Marcus is responsible for the company’s mergers and acquisitions, its programming affiliation relationships and its legal and human resources departments. In addition, he has a lead role in developing the company’s overall business strategy.
Marcus most recently served as Senior Vice President, Mergers and Acquisitions for Time Warner Cable’s parent company, Time Warner Inc. In that capacity, he was the corporate point person on mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures and other related transactions. He held this position since 2002. Marcus joined Time Warner Inc. in 1998 as Vice President of Mergers and Acquisitions and has held various positions in the company during his nearly eight years of service.
From 1990-1997, Marcus practiced law at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison, where he was one of Time Warner Inc.’s principal outside corporate counsels.
