
Edgar "Woody" E. Woodward
Vice President of Sales
Woody Woodward is Vice President of Sales for the Northeast Ohio Division of Time Warner Cable. He directs the division's sales initiatives as it relates to new and current customer growth throughout Northeast Ohio and Western Pennsylvania. Woodward oversees Digital Cable, Road Runner, and Digital Phone sales in the Direct Sales operation, Inbound Sales, Outbound Sales, and Retail groups.
Woodward began his cable career in 1982 as a Direct Sales Representative with Warner Cable in Houston. He was promoted through the ranks from Promotions Supervisor, Marketing Manager and Sales Manager before coming to Akron, Ohio in 1988 as Manager of Sales and Marketing for Greater Akron. For more than 15 years, he served on the executive level of management in both sales and marketing. With over 24 years in the cable industry, Woodward assumed his current position as Vice President of Sales in 2006 for Time Warner Cable Northeast Ohio, one of the largest cable divisions in the country.
A native of Fredericksburg, Virginia, Woodward graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a B.A. Degree in Communications.
Woodward is active in civic and community affairs. He is a graduate of Leadership Akron, and the past President of the Akron Chapter of the American Diabetes Association and the Mental Health Association of Summit County. He is currently on the board of WKSU radio station.
Actively involved with Time Warner Cable’s corporate commitment to literacy, Woodward serves as Board President of Project: LEARN in Summit County. Project: LEARN provides literacy and lifelong learning services to adults.
Woody resides in Fairlawn, Ohio with his wife April, and their two children.
