Brien Kelley
Vice President and General Manager


Brien Kelley brings more than two decades of cable industry experience to his position as General Manager of the New York City region. The company is the largest contiguous cable operation under one management in the United States, with over one million customers.

As General Manager of Time Warner Cable, Mr. Kelley is responsible for all facets of the Staten Island, Mount Vernon, and New Jersey systems. Under his direction, Time Warner Cable has ushered in Road Runner, the company’s high speed online Internet access service as well as digital television, high definition television and several other new and innovative products like digital video recorders.

During his tenure with Time Warner Cable, Mr. Kelley has advanced through a series of management positions. Most recently, he served as Vice President of Technical Operations for Time Warner Cable’s Queens and Brooklyn systems. In this capacity, he successfully implemented the company’s first real-time fleet management system.

His analytical and strategic skills have been responsible for dramatic increases in efficiency and productivity. As Operations Manager in Manhattan, he overhauled the system’s billing software system and streamlined a host of office operations.

Mr. Kelley holds an M.B.A from Pace University and a B.S.B.A. in Accounting from Georgetown University. He volunteers as a recruitment counselor for the Georgetown Alumni Admissions Program, is a member of the Board of Directors for the Staten Island Economic Development Corporation and Historic Richmond Town. In addition, he has served as the Co-Chair of First Night Staten Island and as a member of the Staten Island Children’s Museum Gala committee. He and his wife have three children.
