Howard Szarfarc Howard Szarfarc is Executive Vice President of Time Warner Cable’s New York City region, which serves over 1.4 million customers. Mr. Szarfarc has been associated with the company for more than 25 years in various capacities, most recently as President of Time Warner Cable of New York and New Jersey from 2004 until 2008 before being named to his current position. Prior to that, he held positions as General Manager and Vice President of Finance for Time Warner Cable’s New York City division. During his tenure, he has overseen the company’s entry into residential and commercial Digital Phone and high speed data business and expanded HD programming choices. Previously, Mr. Szarfarc was affiliated with the Video Group at Time Inc. He also served as Vice President of Finance for Time Warner Cable in San Diego. Mr. Szarfarc serves on the Board of Directors of the Manhattan Chamber of Commerce. He is also a member of the Mayor’s Broadband Advisory Committee for the City of New York. Most recently he served as Honorary Chair of the New York Chapter of Cable Positive. Mr. Szarfarc holds an E.M.B.A. from Columbia University and a B.S. in Accounting from Brooklyn College. |
