Policies When Road Runner is installed on your personal computer, we include several pieces of Internet software—including Microsoft Internet Explorer version 6.0 - which requires a reasonably fast computer in order to work well.
Therefore, we have provided a list of minimum system requirements that your computer should meet in order for us to install Road Runner.
If you are thinking about purchasing a new computer—or upgrading your existing one—in order to use Road Runner, you should consult our recommended system requirements.
Road Runner is a browser based service which will operate on most popular operating systems, including Microsoft Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows NT 4.0 Workstation, Windows 2000 Professional, UNIX*, LINUX*, Macintosh (version 9.0 and higher) workstations and others.
Time Warner Cable of NYC does not currently offer installation or technical support for subscribers running non-U.S (non-English) versions of these operating systems.
*Although Road Runner is compatible with the UNIX and LINUX operating systems, Time Warner Cable of New York City does not provide technical support for these operating systems.
