News & Information Screen

The News & Information screen currently offers 5 main selection tabs across the top of the screen. Use the Enhanced TV buttons on your digital remote to navigate across the main categories and down into the subcategories. |
- News - Offers 5 drop down tabs although it shows only 3 at a time. Choose from US news, World news, Biz (Dow, NASDAQ, entertainment, etc), Technical news and Sports news. Each of these tabs offers the most recent news in that particular category.
- Weather - Offers 3 tabs including Local, Regional and National. The local tab provides weather information for cities such as Asheboro, Burlington, etc. The Regional tab offers weather information for more extended areas such as Asheville, NC., Boone, NC., Atlanta Ga., and Chattanooga, TN. The National weather tab covers national weather news. All of the weather information is updated approximately every 20 minutes.
- Sports - Offers sports information and news with scores for the NFL, NBA, NHL, Tennis, Golf, MLB, NCAA M (Men's Basketball), Auto (Automobile, Nascar, racing) and General (general sports news). Some more specific sports information like men's basketball, NBA, and Golf, etc. may also be listed under the General tab.
- Zodiac - Offers horoscope information with 3 drop down tabs including Daily, Weekly and Monthly predictions.
- Cinema - Offers 2 drop down tabs including local theatre listings throughout the region as well as a listing of movie titles that are currently showing in all local area theatres.
- Careers - Offers local career opportunity listings for Time Warner Cable. Each listing provides a brief job description with education/equivalent required as well as preferred experience plus how to apply.

The Access Menu cannot be launched while watching On Demand programming or Pay-Per-View channels. The tab selections under the Sports category will vary during off season periods.
