Help on Using CHAT


PLEASE NOTE THAT CHAT IS NOT AVAILABLE ON CHRISTMAS DAY AND NEW YEARS DAY.

If you have a pop-up blocker activated on your browser, you need to allow icmail.twc-sa.com in order to use Time Warner Cable's CHAT feature.

If you have installed Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 2, and use Internet Explorer as your browser, follow the steps below to set up Time Warner Cable's CHAT feature on your machine.

  1. Open up Internet Explorer and click on the "Tools" pull-down menu
  2. Select "Pop-up Blocker"
  3. Select "Pop-up Blocker Settings"
  4. In the field "Address of Web site to allow:" type icmail.twc-sa.com, then click "Add"


  5. Then click "Close"


  6. Open up another window on Internet Explorer and got to Time Warner Cable's contact page at http://www.timewarnercable.com/sanantonio/customer/contactus/default.html
    Click on the link to activate Chat under "CHAT WITH US."



  7. Type in your information on the form and click "Submit"


  8. At the top of the activity window, if you see this message
    "This site requires...." then click on it and select "Install ActiveX Control..."
