Start Over™Quick Guide

It’s easy to Start Over! If you tune in late to a show, look for the Start Over prompt in the lower left corner of your TV screen and follow the easy instructions below.

  Look for the Start Over 
prompt on screen.
(It will appear on TV
shows airing on
Start Over channels.)
     
  Press the SELECT button
on your remote to launch
the Attention screen. 
 
     
  An Attention screen will appear with two options: Start Over that show or Cancel and return
to what you were
watching on live TV.

Don’t see the Start Over prompt on screen?

  If you don’t see the Start Over prompt on screen,
press the SELECT button.
     
  The Enhanced TV menu will appear with the Start Over option. Highlight and SELECT
it to restart the show.

Using your digital remote with Start Over.

 

Press the SELECT button
for the Attention screen, Enhanced TV menu and to restart shows airing on Start Over channels. (For a current list, see What’s Playing Now). Press the STOP, C button
or Channel +/- to return
to live TV.


Once you’ve chosen to Start Over, you also have the option to REWIND a show as well as PAUSE it.*
(Plus, if you change the channel, the RESUME feature will enable you to pick up where you left off if the program is still within its original broadcast window.)

Tune in to Today on NBC, Mondays - Fridays 7 am - 10 am ET.

*Fast forward is not currently a Start Over feature but is available with Digital Video Recorder.
