
As director of public affairs, Kathi is responsible for governmental and media relations in the Coachella Valley, Morongo Basin and Banning areas. She is responsible for guiding company relations with local governments and military installations, as well as regulatory and legislative matters with state and Federal governmental agencies and elected officials. Kathi oversees Time Warner Cable’s support of local community, charitable and not-for-profit organizations through the creation and airing of 30-second public service announcements. She is responsible for the local studio production facility and she oversees all programming for Time Warner Cable’s Desert Cities TV channel 111, Desert Cities On Demand channel 110, PEG and leased access channels.
Kathi is a board member of the Cathedral City Chamber of Commerce and member of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences-Pacific Southwest Chapter, Women in Cable & Telecommunications (WICT), Women in Film & Television Palm Springs and Media Mavens. She currently serves on the Arts, Media and Entertainment Industry Council and the Advanced Technologies Industry Council for the Coachella Valley Economic Partnership Career Pathways Initiative. She is past board chair of the Arthritis Foundation Coachella Valley Branch, past board president Women Leaders Forum and past board member of the Indian Wells Desert Symphony.
