Important Update:

If you recently received a letter stating your account is ready to migrate from Adelphia’s High Speed Internet service to Time Warner Cable’s Road Runner High Speed Online, please see below for activation instructions. If you have not yet received your letter, please wait to activate your account until we notify you by mail.

This UPDATED step-by-step information will help ensure your transition goes as smoothly as possible. The Activation Wizard will configure your Outlook Express to receive your new Road Runner email. It will also allow you to sign up for your new security software and set your homepage to RoadRunner.com. If you are a web mail user, you can continue to use it just as you did before. The return may continue to be your Adelphia.net address until February.

Three Easy Steps

STEP 1: Confirm your Master User/Head of Household username.

Your username is available at: https://help.rr.com/urt/

This is the username you received when you first subscribed to Adelphia High Speed Internet. You will need your username and password to log in when you activate your Road Runner account, so be sure to keep this handy. If you have not used your username in the past three months, a new Head of Household username has been assigned to you.

STEP 2: Confirm your password.

A. Go to: http://help.rr.com/password

B. If you have not been to RoadRunner.com before, you will need to choose “Time Warner Cable, California, Southern California” and “former Adelphia customer” from the drop down menus.

C. Choose “Change your password” from the Email Quick Reference section.

D. Choose “I don’t know my Road Runner e-mail password.”

E. You will need your new Road Runner email to log in. Your new Road Runner email address will be “username@roadrunner.com.” (your username can be found in step 1 above.)

F. Follow the prompts through the security section.

STEP 3: Migrate your Road Runner Account

A. Go to the Road Runner Activation Wizard at: www.activation.rr.com

B. Select “I am a Time Warner Cable Road Runner customer (including former Comcast and Adelphia customers).”

C. Choose “[username]@roadrunner.com (Including Former Adelphia customers)”

D. The Activation Wizard will configure your account and set up your Road Runner email address and mailbox.

E. Select “Register for Internet Security Suite from CA” box in the Activation Wizard.

F. Once you register for EZ Armor from Computer Associates, you will receive an email with instructions for installing the free security software. Your Adelphia security software provided by Freedom will expire soon, so don’t wait to install your new Internet Security Suite. Please remember to uninstall the Freedom security software prior to installing the Computer Associates software by visiting: http://kb.adelphia.freedom.net/index.php and selecting “Uninstalling” from the drop down menu on the right.

G. Inform your friends and family of your new email address (username@roadrunner.com).
