Yes. The Road Runner virus filter will scan your incoming e-mail attachments for tens-of-thousands of known viruses. E-mail without attachments will not be scanned at all. Attachments without viruses will be delivered without any alteration to the e-mail attachment. Attachments with viruses will be cleaned (if possible) and delivered with a message telling you that a virus was found and removed. Attachments with viruses that cannot be cleaned will have the attachments (or part of the attachments) deleted, and it will be delivered with a message stating that a virus was found and the file(s) deleted. Virus definitions are added on a regular basis.
