VAMOS! TRAVEL SHOW
Time Warner Cable brings you twelve episodes of “Vamos! Travel Show”, San Antonio’s first and only international travel program on San Antonio On Demand Channel 988, allowing digital subscribers the opportunity to vacate to great travel destinations, from the comfort of their home for FREE.
Time Warner Cable digital customers with a set top box who want to view the travel show, produced by Bauhaus Media Group, can simply tune to Channel 988, scroll to “Travel”, select their desired episode, i.e. “Puerto Vallarta” and press “play” on their remote control.
These episodes hosted by the beautiful and vivacious Travel! Host Vanessa Macias, captures her passport journey across Texas, touring Austin, Corpus Christi and Houston, and parts of Mexico ranging from the relaxing island of Puerto Vallarta, to the fun beach town of Sayulita. Episodes are packed with travel news, tips and video of beautiful resorts and hidden destinations.

TEXAS MOST WANTED

Time Warner Cable, in partnership with the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), announced the launch of the Texas Most Wanted series in the Crime Stoppers category on San Antonio On Demand. The Texas Most Wanted series distributes information about the most wanted DPS fugitives to Time Warner Cable digital video customers across the state, allowing customers in Texas to support efforts by DPS to locate and capture the most wanted fugitives and sex offenders.
The Texas Most Wanted videos in the Crime Stoppers category will feature video profiles updated monthly of up to 10 most wanted fugitives and 10 sex offenders from across the state. Each video provides relevant details about the fugitive’s case, including the name, city of criminal activity, and the amount of cash reward being offered for anonymous tips that lead to the persons’ whereabouts and arrest.
Time Warner Cable’ digital subscribers can watch these programs by tuning to channel 988, scrolling to the "Crime Stoppers" category and selecting the video of your choice.
THE CLETO SHOW

“The Cleto Show” is a comedy produced by Cevallos Brothers Productions about Cleto Rodriguez and his life-long dream of hosting his own late night talk show in his hometown of San Antonio. After working the comedy circuit for over thirteen frustrating years, Cleto has given up on the idea of being discovered by Hollywood and takes matters into his own hands- he decides to write, direct, and film his own talk show.
Laughed at by his friends and teased by his family, Cleto enlists the help of his best friend and part-time producer, Jesus (Tommy Munoz). Together they are determined to turn Cleto’s dream into a reality, but with no experience, money, venue, crew or guest, Cleto and Jesus must beg, borrow, and pray their way to television stardom.
Part late night, part sitcom, “The Cleto Show” includes stand-up comedy, guest interviews, comedy shorts and live band performances, all filmed at venues around San Antonio. PAWS ON DEMAND

Every dog has its day and Time Warner Cable is hoping to make the day of many dogs (and cats) at the San Antonio Humane Society in the coming months. Through a unique partnership with the Humane Society, Time Warner Cable will showcase adoptable dogs and cats on its newest on demand feature, Paws On Demand, exclusively on San Antonio On Demand Channel 988.
Paws On Demand features short video clips of the playful pooches and frisky felines available for adoption at the Humane Society. From the comfort of your own home, you can watch videos of the pets interacting with shelter volunteers, get a feel for the animals’ likes and dislikes and find out detailed information on adopting animals from the Humane Society.
You can view adoptable pets by tuning to San Antonio On Demand Channel 988 and scrolling to the “Paws On Demand” category.
OUR PART OF TOWN
Watch San Antonio’s Most Talented Go Head-to-Head in Competition
For 30 years, Time Warner Cable and the City of San Antonio’s Parks and Recreation Department have come together to promote the “Our Part of Town” talent show. This show, the brain-child of former San Antonio Mayor Henry G. Cisneros, began its run back in 1980, and continues to be a huge hit within the community. In 2004, the talent show became a staple of SAOD, making it possible for digital subscribers around the city to watch this showcase of talent from the comfort of their homes, and having the control to replay the best performances on Channel 988 as many times as they want for FREE.
The talent show’s different divisions of competition, per city council district, are: 12 years and Under category, 13-19 years category, and 20 years and over category.
Currently available on SAOD are previous finalists’ performances from the past five years of the competition. Past acts included: country western vocalists, hip-hop dance groups, bands, comedians, and poetry recitations.
This year, the “Our Part of Town” talent show series is ready to light up the screen for its 31st anniversary! Contestants displaying their talent in vocal, dance and theatrical performances will earn the chance to win a spot in the finals after competing in talent shows from one of the 10 city council districts. The talent shows will be held in July http://www.sanantonio.gov/parksandrec/our_part_of_town.aspx, which will also be available for viewing on Channel 988 beginning Sept. 2011.
The grand finale will be held on November 6 at the Carver Community Cultural Center.
SOUTHTOWN PEDICAB

As the leading provider of local programming, San Antonio On Demand is proud to bring "Southtown Pedicab" by award winning producer Rod Guajardo to viewers. Selected as the winner of the "Southside" category of the 2011 San Antonio Neighborhood Film Project, Rod's short film was created to "highlight the hidden and not-so-hidden treasures of San Antonio."
"Southtown Pedicab" will taxi viewers through an up-close and intimate tour of the rarely seen San Antonio Southtown nightlife as seen through the welcoming eyes of a tourist-friendly pedicab driver, Michael Urbano.

National Center for Missing & Exploited Children

In recognition of National Missing Children’s Day on May 25, Time Warner Cable launched a new Missing Children On Demand category available on our local On Demand channels across Texas. The initiative is in partnership with the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children and will enable digital video customers in Texas to help bring missing children home. CRAFTING WITH ADEINA

Get crafty with Time Warner Cable's newest On Demand program, "Crafting with Adeina," only on San Antonio On Demand Channel 988. Tune in as Adeina walks viewers through the creation of a variety of Fiesta crafts including tissue paper flowers, Fiesta wreaths, a sash to hold your medals, creative headwear and much more.
