24 hours a day, seven days a week, there are almost endless programs on TV. Improved DVR controls and features will keep you from missing the best of them. As you explore the DVR menu you’ll discover features that will help you easily record programs. For instance, by linking DVR with your Interactive On-Screen Guide we make it possible to find shows up to seven days in advance and set them to record with the touch of a button.

- Press “Record” on your remote any time while watching TV
- While in the Confirm Recording screen, choose your recording options and press the “A” button. The Record Indicator is lit on the front panel of the DVR

- Your DVR lets you record multiple episodes of a program according to your preferences.
- Press “Record”
- Choose all episodes. Please take note that information in the fourth column will change based on your selection
- Press the “A” button. Choose one of the options on the screen
- Specify how long to save the recording – until you erase it or until space is needed
- Press “Select” to save your selection

- Press "List”
- Use the arrow buttons to find the program you want to watch
- Press "Select" to display your options
|

- Press "List”
- Press “B” to display the Preferences screen, which displays percentage of space used
- Turning "Auto Erase" On will automatically erase your oldest recordings one by one until there is enough space to record your new programs
- Please note that recordings that have a save time of Until I Erase will do be automatically erased.

- Press "Pause" to pause live TV for up to 1 hour
- Press "Play" to start watching again
- Press "Fast-Forward" or "Rewind" up to three times to rewind or fast-forward at different speeds
- To see action is slow motion, press “Play” from the normal play mode. Press “Play” again to resume normal play mode
- Press “Instant Replay” to replay the last 8 seconds of a live or recorded show
