Two very handy features are our Parental Controls and Favorite Channels. They offer you easy ways to control what you and your family watch. Want to block shows that are R-rated? No problem. Only interested in sports? Shows you want to watch will be waiting when you turn on your set.
And as your needs change, so can your controls. A few simple commands from your remote control will let you reset the channels that appear as your personal favorites or what your children can watch even when you’re not there.

- Press the “Settings” key twice
- At the General Settings Menu, use the up/down arrows to highlight “Viewer: Favorites.” Press “Select”
- Use the up/down arrows to highlight a channel to add to your favorites. Press “Select”
- A Blue Ribbon Icon will appear next to the channel
- To remove a favorite channel, highlight it and press “Select.” The Blue Ribbon Icon will disappear
- Press the “A” button to accept your new list of favorite channels
- Press “Exit” to return to watching TV

- Use the up/down arrows to highlight change. Press “Select”
- Enter your current PIN
- Enter your new PIN
- Reenter your new PIN
- Press “Exit” to return to watching TV

- Use the up/down buttons to highlight each channel you want to block. Press “Select”
- You can press “Select” again to unblock the channel
- Continue highlighting and selecting the channels you wish to block
- Press the “A” key to accept your new list of blocked channels
- Press “Exit” to return to watching TV

- Use the up/down arrows to highlight each rating you want to block. Press “Select”
- You can press “Select” again to unblock the rating
- Continue highlighting and selecting the ratings you wish to block
- Press the “A” key to accept your new list of blocked ratings
- Press “Exit” to return to watching TV

- At the General Settings Menu, use the up/down arrows to highlight “Block: Time New.” Press “Select”
- Enter your PIN if required
- Use the up/down arrows to highlight the date you want to block. Press “Select”
- In the Start Column, change the time shown to the time you want to block to start as follows:
- Press the Right/Left arrows to highlight a setting
- Press the Up/Down arrows to change the setting
- When the correct start time is shown, press the “A” key to accept
- In the Stop Column, change the time shown to the time you want to block to end as follows:
- Press the Right/Left arrows to highlight a setting
- Press the Up/Down arrows to change the setting
- When the correct stop time is shown, press the “A” key to accept
- Press “Exit” to return to watching TV

- While watching TV in the full-screen mode, press “Settings”
- At the Quick Settings Menu, press the up/down arrows to highlight Turn OFF/ON parental controls
- Press “Select” to change the setting to Off or On
