Q. What is a Self-Install Kit?                   
A. A Self-Install Kit is a pre-packaged kit that contains all the necessary equipment to complete a self-installation of one of our products. A self-install kit could be for Digital Cable, Road Runner High-Speed Internet, Wireless Home Networking or Digital Home Phone.

What criteria do I have to meet to be eligible to do a self-installation?             

A. You must currently be an active Time Warner Cable subscriber with at least Standard Cable and have an active cable outlet in the same room where you will perform the self-installation.
   
Q. Can I port my telephone number and still perform a Digital Home Phone Self-Installation?
A.

No. You must request a native number in order to qualify for a Digital Home Phone Self-Install Kit. If you would like to port your number you will need to schedule a professional installation.

   
Q. Can I have an alarm system and still qualify for a Digital Home Phone Self-Installation?
A. If your alarm system will be monitored through your Digital Home Phone service, you will not be eligible for a Digital Home Phone Self-Install Kit.
   
Q. Can I have a security gate and still qualify for a DIgital Home Phone Self-Installation?
A. If your security gate system will be monitored through your Digital Home Phone service, you will not be eligible for a Digital Home Phone Self-Install Kit.
   
Q. Can I have a fax machine and still qualify for a Digital Home Phone Self-Installation?
A. If you have a fax machine that will be used as an additional device to be connected to your Digital Home Phone service you will not be eligible for a Digital Home Phone Self-Install Kit.
   
Q. Can I currently have Time Warner Cable Wireless Home Networking and still qualify for a Digital Home Phone Self-Installation?
A. If you currently have Wireless Home Networking through Time Warner Cable you will not be eligible for a Digital Home Phone Self-Install Kit.
   
Q. Can I request multiple telephone lines with a Digital Home Phone Self-Install Kit?
A. If you would like the activation of multiple telephone lines a professional installation of this service is required.
   
Q. Once I've completed my Digital Home Phone Self-Installation will I have use of all internal phone wiring?
A. To qualify for a Digital Home Phone Self-Installation you must agree to a single phone connection through the Digital Home Phone modem. To activate all internal phone wiring a professional installation is required.
