Grouping Your Programming
By rearranging your lineup by theme we’ve made finding what you want faster and easier than ever. You can find the shows you love based on the following categories:
| Kids & Family | Music |
| Learning & Discovery | Movies |
| Home & Leisure | Sports |
| Shopping | News & Weather |
| Entertainment | Faith & Inspiration |
The new lineup will go into effect by area:
October 6
Marinette
October 8
Northeast Wisconsin
October 13
Southeast Wisconsin
PLEASE NOTE – While channel changes and new channels will automatically appear in your lineup, you may need to reprogram customized equipment settings including Power On Channel, Parental Controls, Favorite Channels or Reminder Timers. Time Warner Cable DVR boxes should retain all saved programs and future scheduled recordings, but may experience an interruption in recordings scheduled the night of the change. If you use a VCR for scheduled recordings, you will need to adjust scheduled recordings.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How is my channel lineup changing?
A: Time Warner Cable is rearranging channels above 100 so that channels with similar programming will be grouped together by categories such as Kids & Family, News & Weather and Sports. For the most part, the channel lineup below 100 will not be affected.
Q: When will this happen?
A:
October 6
Marinette
October 8
Northeast Wisconsin
October 13
Southeast Wisconsin
Q: Why is Time Warner Cable making these changes?
A: These changes will help customers easily and conveniently find the programming they want to watch by grouping together channels that offer similar content or themes. The channel reorganization also will make it easier for us to serve you.
Q: Why is Time Warner Cable changing the positions of just the channels above 100?
A: The Standard Cable lineup usually varies by community because of local access, broadcasters and other stations unique to that market. We will continue to work on providing the best Standard Service we can in each community.

Q: Are you moving some of my Standard Service channels to Digital Cable?
A: No, your Standard Cable lineup for the most part remains unchanged. However, many of those channels also will appear as part of a theme-based category on the Digital lineup as a convenience to make the programming easier to find. So, for example, if you receive ESPN and ESPN2 on Standard Service channels 33 and 34, they also will appear on the Digital lineup in the Sports Category where they will be grouped with other digital sports channels such as ESPNU, ESPN Classic, and ESPN News.
Q: Will I get every channel listed in the various themes or categories as a Digital Cable subscriber?
A: For the most part you will receive all the channels you received prior to the channel realignment, just in different channel locations. The number of channels you receive will continue to depend on which Digital Cable package you subscribe to.
Q: Will you continue to offer different tiers of Digital Cable service?
A: Yes. Time Warner Cable will continue to offer various Digital Cable packages, such as the Digital Variety Package, Digital Sports Package and Digital Movie Package. The purpose of the channel realignment is to group channels together. The themes, or genres such as “Kids & Family”, are simply to make programming easier to find.
