2009 National Teacher Awards
Now in its 20th year, the National Teacher Awards recognize projects developed by educators who often go beyond traditional teaching methods to address different learning styles and reach the greatest number of students. Over its history, Time Warner Cable has honored more than 500 teachers from around the country with these awards.
Teacher winners receive an all-expenses-paid trip for two to Washington, DC for the gala celebration, $2,000 cash for each winning project, a $3,000 school technology grant and a Crystal Apple sculpture. Applications are now being accepted until March 27, 2009. |

2009 Champion Principal Award
Over the years of conducting Time Warner Cable's National Teachers Awards, we've come to realize that a principal's encouragement and support can make a tremendous difference in how effectively technology is used to maximize teaching and learning in the classroom. That's why we're looking for a Champion Principal who supports and understands the use of technology as an effective classroom learning resource.
Our 2009 Champion Principal will receive a trip for two to the TWC National Teacher Awards gala celebration in Washington DC and $5,000 for classroom technology enhancement. |
