Holiday messages from local soldiers, sailors, airmen and marines who are deployed overseas are now available on Time Warner Cable Ohio On Demand Channel 1111.
The messages, provided by the Army & Air Force Hometown News Service, are from troops stationed in Germany, Korea, England, Kuwait, Italy, Japan, Azores, Guam and Southwest Asia. The eight-minute video includes recorded messages from 35 members of the armed forces whose families reside in Time Warner Cable’s Mid-Ohio Division service area.
To view the holiday greetings at any time, digital customers may tune to channel 1111 and select the “Lifestyles” category. “Troop Greetings” is located under the “Holidays” tab. Once selected, customers may play, fast forward, rewind, pause and re-watch the program using the remote control.
