Election 2006: Meet the candidates on your schedule only on Time Warner Cable Ohio On Demand Channel 1111

With the election just three weeks away, now is the time to tune to Time Warner Cable Ohio On Demand Channel 1111 to watch a variety of debates and candidate interviews, all available for viewing any time, any day.

Through On Demand technology, Time Warner Cable digital customers may watch the following election 2006 coverage at their convenience between now and election day:

• Gubernatorial Debate (Strickland/Blackwell) from ONN, Sept. 9, Youngstown
• Senatorial Debate from Meet the Press (DeWine/Brown), Oct. 1, (available through 10/21)
• Congressional Debate (Pryce/Kilroy) from WOSU, Oct. 12, Columbus
• Government Matters, a Time Warner Cable pubic affairs program featuring 30-minute interviews with:  Candidates for State Treasurer( Cordray/O’Brien); Candidates for State Attorney General (Mongtomery/Dann); Candidates for Secretary of State (Brunner/Hartmann); Candidate for State Auditor (Taylor)

To view these programs on Ohio On Demand, customers may tune to channel 1111 and select the “Local News & Info” category.  The candidate debates and interviews are available under the “Government” tab.  Once selected, customers may play, fast forward, rewind, pause and re-watch the program using the remote control.
