Time Warner Cable, home of Free HD,  is adding two new HD channels to the South Carolina lineup free to HD converter customers with the Digital Tier. ESPNU HD is a new channel that made its debut August 28th. Beginning September 12th, TWC will launch ESPNU HD and Planet Green HD (formerly Discovery Home).
The channels will be located at the following locations:

ESPNU HD              Channel 952

Planet Green HD    Channel 851

ESPNU HD is the HD simulcast of ESPNU.  ESPNU is a 24-hour college sports network which launched March 4, 2005.  ESPNU featured almost 500 live events (regular-season and championships) and doubled its distribution in its first year. Action includes a variety of top football and men’s and women’s basketball mixed with baseball, softball, volleyball, lacrosse, ice hockey, wrestling and more. ESPNU also offers comprehensive studio programming, such as SportsCenterU, ESPNU Coaches Spotlight, ESPNU Recruiting Insider and National Signing Day, replays of ABC Sports, ESPN, ESPN2 and ESPN Regional Television games, plus specials and more.
Planet Green HD is A 24-hour eco-lifestyle television network offering more than 250 hours of original green lifestyle programming that is entertaining, relevant, and accessible to people of all ages and backgrounds. Planet Green will feature several original shows including The Green Life starring Adrian Grenier of Entourage and Supper Club with Tom Bergeron, host of ABC's Dancing With the Stars.
