New York, NY – April 16, 2010 – Time Warner Cable’s New York City Region recently launched several channels for its customers. 

The following digital channel is now available to digital customers:

  • National Geographic Wild – this channel is dedicated to bringing audiences extraordinary stories of the natural world and the amazing animals that inhabit it.  Through unique, powerful experiences and unparalleled imagery, viewers will get closer to animals and nature than ever before.  Available on Channel 158.


The following channel is available as part of the Digital Sports Package:

  • Fox Soccer Plus -- enhances the ultimate soccer fan experience by providing exclusive matches from top leagues and tournaments including England’s Barclays Premier League, UEFA Champions League, England’s FA Cup, Italy’s Serie A, the prestigious Carling Cup, action from the Coca-Cola Championship and premiere rugby programming with the Guinness Premiership, the Heineken Cup, and Magners League.  Available on Channel 460 and in HD on Channel 470.


The following channel is now available to El Paquetazo and DTV en Español customers:

  • Multimedios – features original programming from Mexico including music, game shows, news, sports and children’s shows with some of the best known stars on Mexican television.  Available on Channel 898.
