Raleigh, N.C. (November 21, 2011) –Time Warner Cable and News 14 Carolina are the only sources for the 4AA North Carolina high school football regional championship playoff games. The East and West region games will air LIVE on Time Warner Cable digital cable and online at news14.com.
“Nothing goes together better than football and Thanksgiving,” said Carolina On Demand manager, Jason Lockhart. “Fans and families gathering for holiday will be able to watch their favorite high school teams LIVE for a chance to compete for the coveted state title.”
Beginning at 7:30 PM, November 25, the North Carolina High School Athletic Association 4AA regional games will be available live on Time Warner Cable’s special events channels 520 and 521. Teams vying for a chance to compete for the North Carolina state championship include Jack Britt vs. Garner in the East on channel 520 and Mallard Creek vs. Page in the West on channel 521.
The athletic offensive line of the Garner Trojans will play against a Jack Britt team that has had its seventh 10-win season in the past eight years. In the West, Page High School eliminated two-time state champion Butler to take on the Mavericks of Mallard Creek High School.
In addition to the live coverage on channels 520 and 521, the games will stream live on news14.com and will also be replayed at no charge to Time Warner Cable digital customers on Carolina On Demand, channels 199 and 1047.
