Time Warner Cable Opens Second 'Experience' Store in Charlotte

New Store Continues TWC’s Commitments to Improve the Customer Experience

Charlotte, NC (April 12, 2016) — Time Warner Cable announced today the grand opening of a new experience store in Charlotte, located at 8332 Pineville Mathews Road in the McMullen Creek Market Shopping Center. The new store features an innovative retail concept aimed at providing customers with exceptional customer service as well as providing an enhanced, hands-on experience to learn about and enjoy Time Warner Cable’s suite of TV, Internet and Phone products and services.

“This marks the opening of our second ‘experience store” in Charlotte and really highlights one of the important new ways we’re connecting with consumers,” said Charlene Keys, Time Warner Cable’s area vice president of operations for Charlotte. “As we continue to introduce new product technologies and features, our newly designed stores will serve as a resource for customers to better understand everything we have to offer. This store is all about improving customer service and providing a relaxed, engaging environment that encourages people to interact with and sample our products.”

Time Warner Cable’s new store will host a grand opening event and ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday, April 14, at 9:30 a.m. The event will be attended by local elected officials, Time Warner Cable executives and business leaders.

The store’s grand opening will be highlighted by several customer appreciation activities. WNKS-FM – KISS 95.1 will broadcast live and customers are encouraged to visit the new store, enjoy complimentary refreshments, giveaway items and the chance to win tickets to an upcoming Charlotte Hornets game, an autographed Nicolas Batum jersey and a game-used basketball. Members of the Charlotte Hornets’ Honey Bees will also make an appearance.

In celebration of the grand opening and Time Warner Cable’s commitment to the Charlotte community, the company will also recognize the North Carolina Science Festival. Through Time Warner Cable’s Connect a Million Minds initiative, a $10,000 grant will be provided continuing Time Warner Cable’s long-term support of the Festival. The North Carolina Science Festival offers the opportunity for everyone to celebrate science in fun and welcoming settings while encouraging children to pursue science-related careers.
