Time Warner Cable Customers Can Still Enjoy Their Favorite Sports This Weekend Despite CBS Broadcaster Blackout

Release Date: 08/08/2013

NEW YORK – Time Warner Cable customers won't have to miss a second of their favorite sports this weekend due to CBS’s broadcaster blackout; there are alternative ways to watch the PGA Championship and NFL preseason football games.

"We thank our customers for their patience during this time and want them to continue to watch their favorite sports in highlighting these alternative options," said Glenn Britt, Chairman & CEO, Time Warner Cable. "We sincerely hope that this blackout is short, and are working very hard to bring back the CBS programming that customers love."

PGA is offering several ways for customers to watch the tournaments, including live stream at PGA.com and on TNT. Customers can enjoy live, exclusive coverage of Marquee Groups and every shot from Tiger Woods, Keegan Bradley and Davis Love III, then switch to Phil Mickelson, Justin Rose and Adam Scott and Ian Poulter. In addition, CBS has announced additional coverage on CBS Sports Network, available on our Sports Pass video package, including replays of the third- and fourth-round action.
