Staten Island, New York – Time Warner Cable (TWC) today opened a second store to better serve Staten Island, providing residents with an enhanced, interactive experience surrounding TWC’s suite of TV, Internet and phone products. The new store will welcome guests with a modern, open floor plan to serve as a place to enjoy, learn and try interactive product demonstrations. In addition to the new space, customers can expect shorter wait times with exceptional customer service.
Located at 100 Cable Way in the Mariner’s Harbor neighborhood, the store is part of a commitment to improve customer service for local residents. Another interactive experience store, which opened at 2845 Richmond Avenue towards the end of 2011, will continue to serve as TWC’s flagship store on Staten Island.
“We are very pleased to invest in this new store to give Staten Islanders another location where we can provide high quality customer service,” said Tony Ontiveros, Area Vice President for Time Warner Cable. “Just like our flagship store, this new location allows people to learn, sample and experience all the exciting technologies we’ve built into our TV, Internet and phone services.”
Jim Netska, VP of Retail Sales, Time Warner Cable, East Region, said, “We are pleased that, after listening to the needs of our customers, we are delivering this conveniently located store to Staten Islanders. Just like our Richmond Avenue store, customers will be able to come to our new location to experience and sample all of the terrific technologies and services we offer to offer that enhance their daily lives.”
The store is located within an existing TWC facility that is home to many of the hundreds of employees who service Staten Island. Time Warner Cable’s New York City service area includes Manhattan, Queens, Staten Island and western Brooklyn, Mt. Vernon, NY, as well as Bergen and Hudson Counties in New Jersey.
