Charlotte, NC – This holiday season promises to be bright for Time Warner Cable digital cable customers. From the scene-setting “Yule Log” to Troop Greetings, Time Warner Cable’s digital programming helps customers enjoy the season better.
All Time Warner Cable digital cable customers can access Carolina On Demand holiday programs at a time that is convenient for them on channels 199 or 1047. Back by popular demand are two versions of the “Yule Log”. Enjoy the warm crackling fireplace scene for those quiet nights with family or set the stage for a livelier party scene by accessing the roaring fireplace accompanied by instrumental holiday music. Both Yule Log scenes are available on Carolina On Demand’s main menu under the “Seasonal” tab.
Carolina On Demand will also feature the video “Menorah” showing eight nights of video to celebrate Hanukah and the lighting of the menorah. “The Nativity Scene” features video of a decorative nativity scene accompanied by traditional Christian music. In addition, Carolina On Demand will carry parades from across the region including the Fayetteville Rotary Christmas Parade, Christmas Flotilla from Wilmington, and the Belk Carolinas’ Carrousel Parade from Charlotte.
A variety of holiday themed programming will be featured on News 14 Carolina across the state. The Duke Chapel Christmas Eve Service of Lessons & Carols will be broadcast live on Christmas Eve at 11pm. News 14 Carolina will air stories as part of Time Warner Cable and News 14 Carolinas Holiday Hopes and Happenings campaign, The stories include interviews with families helped by the Salvation Army and lets viewers know how they can get involved. News 14 Carolina will also help our troops connect to their loved ones during the holidays, showing personal holiday messages recorded from our deployed soldiers to their families. The Troop Greetings can also be accessed by the public on News14.com.
Time Warner Cable customers can ring in the New Year with News 14 Carolina at midnight with live reports from Downtown Raleigh, Uptown Charlotte and Times Square.
Rounding out Time Warner Cable’s offerings for the holidays is Music Choice channel 932, “Sounds of the Season”. Beginning on November 26, Music Choice will add two more channels featuring contemporary holiday hits on “Holiday Hits on the Soft Rock Channel”, channel 918 and “Holiday Hits on Demand”, channel 1066.
