A portion of the proceeds from purchases of United 93 via Movies On Demand to support the creation of national monument.

New York, New York – October 10, 2006 – Time Warner Cable of New York and New Jersey and NBC Universal Cable (NBCUC) have teamed up to donate a portion of the proceeds from the Movies On Demand (MOD) customer purchases of the film United 93 to the Flight 93 National Memorial.  Digital customers can now access United 93 on Movies On Demand–Channel 1000 for $3.95, the movie is currently available on demand and will run through February 28, 2007.

Movies On Demand provides customers with full VCR functionality, allowing viewers to access a movie for 24 hours, and to stop, pause, rewind and replay the movie all at the touch of a button.  A portion of the proceeds from every order of United 93 will be donated to the Flight 93 National Memorial. 

The development of the Flight 93 National Memorial has been, is, and will continue to be a partnership among the Families of Flight 93, the Flight 93 Federal Advisory Commission, the Flight 93 Memorial Task Force, the National Park Service, the National Park Foundation and many representatives of local, state and national organizations, agencies and interests, as well as people from around the world. This public/private partnership has been instrumental in all of the efforts leading to the creation of the Flight 93 National Memorial and in its planning to date. To learn more, visit
