KANSAS CITY (October 3, 2011) – NASCAR returns to Kansas Speedway this Friday - Sunday, and Time Warner Cable and SPEED2 have partnered to provide race enthusiasts with a free fan zone for the entire race weekend. Located outside the frontstretch in the main vendor area, the Time Warner Cable and SPEED2 Digital Pit will feature racing video games, victory lane photo opportunities and giveaway items including replica trophies. The Time Warner Cable and SPEED2 Digital Pit will also give racing fans the opportunity to view SPEED2 online content and learn more about the “TWC Sports Pass,” which includes 16 sports channels for only $4.95 per month, as well as access to SPEED2 online.

On Friday, Oct. 7 the Time Warner Cable and SPEED2 Digital Pit will be open from 10 a.m. – 7:30 p.m. as Kansas Speedway will host the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series O'Reilly Auto Parts Qualifying and the ARCA Racing Series Kansas Lottery 98.9, the Speedway’s inaugural night race.
On Saturday, Oct. 8 the Time Warner Cable and SPEED2 Digital Pit will be open from 9:30 a.m. – 2 p.m., and the Kansas Speedway will host the NASCAR Nationwide Series Kansas Lottery 300 that day.
On Sunday, Oct. 9 the Time Warner Cable and SPEED2 Digital Pit will be open from 8 a.m. – 1 p.m. as the Chase for the NASCAR Spring Cup continues with the Hollywood Casino 400.
