Time Warner Cable announces addition of Columbus Sports Network

Time Warner Cable Mid-Ohio Division announced today that it has added the new 24-hour Columbus Sports Network (CSN) to its Digital Cable lineup on channel 78. CSN will feature professional, collegiate, prep and amateur sports from Franklin County and the surrounding six-county region.

CSN is providing live coverage of seven Columbus Destroyers home games against Arena Football League competition as well as a 30-minute pregame show and a weekly magazine show, Destroyers Digest.  Additionally, CSN recently announced a partnership with the Ohio High School Athletic Association to televise a variety of Central Ohio high school sporting events.

The network plans to televise more than 250 local sporting events each year. CSN also plans to air daily news and highlights programs along with several magazine shows paired with game telecasts.
