Road Runner Mobile, Business Class Mobile 4G Mobile Network Five Times Faster Than 3G

Kansas City - Time Warner Cable Kansas City customers will soon have the ability to take their broadband Internet connection with them away from the home or office with Road Runner Mobile and Business Class Mobile. The 4G Mobile Network will launch this summer and users can expect Internet speeds up to six megabits per second on the fastest mobile broadband network available.

“Time Warner Cable’s 4G Mobile Network will for the first time provide our customers the ability to use broadband Internet speeds away from the home or office,” said Dan Wright, Group Vice President for Time Warner Cable Kansas City. “This is a breakthrough opportunity for our customers to connect with information, entertainment and each other in a whole new way.”

Subscribers to Time Warner Cable’s 4G Mobile Network will be able to take advantage of super-fast 4G Internet access in other Time Warner Cable 4G markets including Dallas, San Antonio, and Austin, TX; Charlotte, Raleigh and Greensboro, NC; and Honolulu and Maui, HI.  Customers will also be able to access the 4G network in additional cities outside the Time Warner Cable footprint including Atlanta, Baltimore, Chicago, Houston, Las Vegas, Philadelphia, and Seattle.  The service will also provide 3G coverage nationwide in areas where 4G is not available.

Pricing information and other details will be announced closer to the launch date this summer. Time Warner Cable customers will be eligible for preferred pricing by bundling their 4G wireless service with the company’s other products including cable TV, high-speed data service and digital phone.
Both Road Runner Mobile for residential customers and Business Class Mobile for commercial subscribers will be available at launch. Both services will offer customers a high-speed, media-rich broadband experience away from the home or office. It will also bring customers the convenience of a single bill for their video, high-speed data, digital phone and mobile data services.
