San Diego, CA, April 9, 2010 – Time Warner Cable has announced that beginning April 9 through April 30, customers will be able to view daily highlights from the 2010 Masters Golf Tournament in 3D, On Demand. The 3D coverage, On Demand, will include daily highlights of tournament action, as well as Masters Moments, the Par 3 contest, Masters Film and BBC Masters Anthology.
In addition to offering exclusive 3D coverage of the 2010 Masters Golf Tournament On Demand for customers, Time Warner Cable is showing live coverage of the tournament in 3D during a two-day viewing party event. On Friday, April 9, members of the media are invited to view live, 3D coverage of round two of the Masters Golf Tournament from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. During a free viewing party on Saturday, April 10 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., customers and patrons are invited to watch live, 3D coverage of round three of the Masters Golf Tournament. Both viewing party events are taking place at the Country Club of Rancho Bernardo in San Diego.

Time Warner Cable is able to show the tournament in 3D by taking advantage of the newest 3D technology, and utilizing a new side by side panel format to deliver 3D images. In order to view the tournament coverage in 3D, customers must have 3D televisions, 3D glasses and a Time Warner Cable HD box with HDMI output. (3D coverage is not available in all areas.)
