One year after launching its groundbreaking flat-rate Business Class Phone service in Kansas City, Time Warner Cable announced that it has surpassed the 1,000 customer mark.
Time Warner Cable launched its Business Class Phone service with a plan that, for a flat monthly rate, includes unlimited local and long-distance service to the U.S., Canada, Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, Guam and Saipan. The monthly rate also includes – at no additional cost – a long list of the most popular business calling features. Just a few include three-way calling, caller ID/call waiting ID, call forward, call waiting, caller ID blocking, speed dial, anonymous call reject, inbound/outbound call restrictions, three-way call transfer and hunting, which automatically directs incoming calls to unused lines. Optional services including business voicemail, operator assistance, and directory assistance also are available.
In May, Time Warner Business Class Phone added toll-free 800 numbers, an unlimited in-state long-distance plan and a local-only calling plan in Greater Kansas City. Unique in the Kansas City area, the Unlimited In-State Calling plan lets business customers phone any spot in Missouri and Kansas for a low, flat monthly rate of $29.95. With that plan, inter-state long distance calls are only five cents per minute. Businesses that make few long distance calls can opt for the Unlimited Local Calling plan, priced at only $24.95 per month with long distance calls billed at seven cents per minute.
“Businesses warmly welcomed Time Warner Cable’s flat-rate Business Class Phone plans that deliver outstanding service while allowing them to plan for and control their phone bill,” says Dan Wright, Group Vice President – Kansas City. “Time Warner Cable Business Class customers also have the peace of mind of knowing that award-winning, dedicated local customer service and local support teams are available 24/7 to provide account management, technical support, and experienced field technicians.”
“Many businesses have opted to bundle Business Class Phone with video, data and security services,” notes Wright. “They appreciate the simplicity of a cost-effective single source and single invoice for all their business communications needs.”
