Charlotte, NC (August 15, 2012) - A new season of Time Warner Cable’s Game of the Week kicks off Friday, August 17th with more game coverage of the best high school football matchups of public and private schools rivalries across the state.
“Only Time Warner Cable brings you statewide games throughout the season right through the playoffs and championship game in December,” says Jason Lockhart, Carolina On Demand manager. “From instant replays to colorful commentary, you won’t miss a single play.”
The games will be recorded live each Friday and available for playback the next day on Carolina On Demand, Channel 199 or 1047. Digital cable customers can watch the games on Carolina On Demand free of charge at a time that is convenient for them. Starting September 14th, the Game of the Week will also be available on Special Events Channel 520.
The Game of the Week will be announced Tuesday nights on News 14 Carolina’s Ford Sports Night, North Carolina’s only live half-hour sports show available every night at 10pm. A total of 28 games from the season will be featured. The 2012 Game of the Week season is sponsored by Hendrick and the Charlotte Motor Speedway.
Also starting August 17th, News 14 Carolina will air Hendrick Friday Night Final each week. The program will include highlights from schools across North Carolina and air Fridays at 11:00 p.m. and repeat on Saturdays at 11:00 a.m. Hendrick Friday Night Final will also be available for viewing on Carolina On Demand.
