KANSAS CITY (June 13, 2012) – Sporting Kansas City returns to MLS play this Saturday following a two-week break, and Time Warner Cable (TWC) and ESPN will be on-site at LIVESTRONG Sporting Park informing fans about the free “WatchESPN” App that is available exclusively to TWC customers in the Kansas City area.

Soccer fans heading to LIVESTRONG Sporting Park are encouraged to stop by the TWC/ESPN Fan Zone, located in the Sprint Plaza on the west side of the stadium. The fan zone will open at 5:30 p.m. when the Sprint Plaza opens, and will remain open until the game kicks off at 7:30 p.m.

In addition to learning about the “WatchESPN” App, fans will be able to get an autograph from Sporting Kansas City defender Matt Besler from 6 – 7:30 p.m. at the fan zone, and will also have the chance to win great giveaway items from TWC and ESPN, including an Xbox 360.

The free “WatchESPN” App is available for Android devices from the Android Market and for Apple devices from the App Store, and gives TWC customers access to live streaming feeds from ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, ESPN Goal Line, ESPN Buzzer Beater and ESPN3.com.
