(Cincinnati, Ohio) October 25, 2007 – To commemorate Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Time Warner Cable today presented The Wellness Community and Cancer Family Care with two checks totaling $96,683. The funds were raised at the 15th Annual Time Warner Cable Golf Benefit held August 2, 2007.

The Time Warner Cable Golf Benefit has been raising funds for The Wellness Community since 1992. This is the second year that the Golf Benefit also raised funds for Cancer Family Care. This year, the Time Warner Cable Golf Benefit raised $76,683 for The Wellness Community and $20,000 for Cancer Family Care.
“I am overwhelmed by the donation and Time Warner Cable’s ongoing dedication to the community. Words could never properly express how appreciative we are for your support or how critical this support is to our being able to reach the growing number of people affected by cancer,” said Rick Bryan, Executive Director of The Wellness Community. 
The Golf Benefit is organized by Time Warner Cable employees in memory of colleagues who died of cancer. It has raised over a million dollars to fund agencies dedicated to assisting people with cancer and their loved ones through programs that offer emotional support, education and hope.
