Plan offers a revolutionary, inexpensive way to stay in touch with friends and family around the world

Release Date: 03/07/2008

Palm Desert, CA, March 6, 2008 – Time Warner Cable today introduced a new service for its residential customers in the Coachella Valley, Banning, Yucca Valley and Twentynine Palms.  International OnePrice™ is a flat rate, international calling plan that provides for international calling to about 100 countries, representing more than 80 percent of the world’s population. The plan makes international calling easier and less expensive than ever before.

For only $19.95 per month, Time Warner Cable’s Digital Phone customers can add International OnePrice™ to their existing phone service, when purchased as part of a bundle with another qualifying service, such as video or high-speed data.  With the plan, customers get up to 3,000 international minutes a month –– less than one cent per minute –– to call landline phones in more than 100 countries, including Mexico, the Philippines, United Kingdom, Iraq, Afghanistan and more.   Customers can even call mobile phones based in 15 countries.

“The overwhelming majority of people who regularly make international calls will find International OnePrice to offer a tremendous savings,” said Cyrus Driver, Business Class/Vice President & General Manager, Digital Phone of Time Warner Cable–San Diego Division. “Customers can enjoy the convenience of a fixed monthly fee without having to be concerned about per minute charges for each call they make.”

With International OnePrice, customers can say goodbye to calling cards and their connection fees. Customers can keep their current phone number and enjoy all the latest features for free, like Speed Dial, Caller ID, Call Waiting and more.  No additional equipment is needed to add International OnePrice.

Phone customers calling areas outside of the plan’s coverage area will be charged for those calls on a per-minute basis.  Calls to most mobile phones operated overseas are not included.

International OnePrice™, which has already launched in other divisions of Time Warner Cable, was the first broad-based international calling plan introduced to U.S. phone customers.
