Time Warner Cable announced today the addition of five new high-definition channels to its lineup. As of Oct. 31, 2008, the following HD channels are now available to Time Warner Cable Digital cable customers:
Biography HD - Channel 1826 – Digital Tier
The exclusive home to the Emmy Award-winning Biography series, Biography’s dynamic blend of original and acquired series includes "The Final 24," "Psychic Investigators" and the upcoming William Shatner-hosted talk show, "Shatner’s Raw Nerve".
Toon Disney HD - Channel 1831 – Digital Tier
A spin-off of the Disney Channel, Toon Disney offers children’s cartoons 24 hours a day.
MGM HD - Channel 1852 – HD Tier
MGM HD highlights movies from MGM’s library of more than 1,200 movies filmed in HD compatible format, as well as more than 4,100 theatrical titles.
Hallmark Movie Channel HD - Channel 1861 – HD Tier
Hallmark Movie Channel presents family movies in HD.
Tennis Channel HD - Channel 1868 – Sports Tier
The network broadcasts 24 hours a day and features live tournaments, news, one-on-one interviews, game analysis and skills instruction.

Time Warner Cable Digital cable customers receive popular HD channels at no additional charge. Customer must have a high-definition converter and high-definition television. Time Warner Cable’s HD Tier, offering NBC Universal, MGM and HDNet, is available for an additional $3.95 per month. The Sports Tier, which showcases 11 sports networks including Fox College Sports, NBA TV, NHL Network (and NHL Network HD) and now the Tennis Channel (and Tennis Channel HD), is available for an additional $1.95 per month.
