Release Date: 03/09/2009

Time Warner Cable Inc. (NYSE: TWC) today announced the launch of Primetime On Demand. The new channel will host a variety of hit shows from various broadcast and cable networks’ primetime lineups, including NBC, CBS, USA and FX.

“Primetime On Demand is a free on demand channel that our customers are going to love,” said Lisa Stockmon, Vice President of Corporate Marketing.  “We are now able to provide more of the quality programming our customers have come to expect.  And the best part is that it is now very convenient for them to see their favorite primetime shows at any time, all from the comfort of their couch.”

Viewers can see some of primetime’s most popular programs, such as NBC’s The Biggest Loser, Heroes and Knight Rider; CBS’s CSI Miami, Survivor and Big Brother; and USA’s Monk, Burn Notice and Psych.  Time Warner Cable plans to increase the amount of programming to include additional networks and broadcasts.

Stockmon added: “We put the customers’ viewing schedule in their hands.  We make it simple and easy for them to watch what they want, when they want.”
