(Dayton, Ohio) October 5, 2007 – Time Warner Cable (TWC) added TBS HD, Food Network-HD and HGTV-HD to its lineup of high definition channels this week. The new channels are part of the HD Standard tier on channels752, 753 and 754 respectively. HD Standard is available at no additional charge to all Time Warner Cable customers who subscribe to standard service or above and have a high definition television and high definition converter.
With the launch of TBS HD, HGTV-HD and Food Network-HD, Time Warner Cable customers have access to 21 channels of high-definition sports and entertainment.
TBS HD will carry all Division Series games and the National League Championship Series (NLCS). All MLB Postseason games will be shot in HD. A full schedule of the games is available at http://www.tbs.com/sports/mlb.
Shows being produced in high definition for HGTV-HD include World’s Most Extreme Homes, Small Space, Big Style, Design ReMix, and Decorating Cents. The new network also will be augmented by FINE LIVING’s The Wandering Golfer and Any Given Latitude. Food Network-HD shows will include Paula’s Party, Giada’s Weekend Getaways and Good Eats.
