Time Warner Cable Metro Sports Announces 2011 Fall Volleyball Schedule

Slate Includes Eight Big 12 Games Featuring MU, KU and K-State and Three High School Games

KANSAS CITY (September 27, 2011) – Time Warner Cable Metro Sports announced today that it has added Big 12 Conference and Kansas City area high school women’s volleyball to its fall lineup. Metro Sports will broadcast of minimum of eight Big 12 Conference volleyball matches and three KC area high school matches, with all of the Big 12 games airing live on Wednesday evenings.

The first Big 12 volleyball broadcast on Metro Sports will take place this Wednesday, Sept. 28 when the University of Kansas will host the Iowa State Cyclones at 6:30 p.m.

Bishop Miege at St. Thomas Aquinas will be Metro Sports’ first high school volleyball broadcast of the fall. The Stags and the Saints will face off tonight and the game will be aired on a tape-delayed basis on Metro Sports tomorrow at 2 p.m.

Volleyball fans can watch all of the Big 12 and high school broadcasts this fall on Metro Sports, which is available throughout the Kansas City area on Time Warner Cable (channel 30, 310 and in HD on 1310), Comcast (channel 258) and Knology in Lawrence (channel 37).
