There will also be a new episode of “Metro Sports Extras,” the network’s in-depth interview program, every other Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.

“Varsity KC” will air on Wednesday evenings at 6 p.m. and will focus on seasonal high school sports in the Kansas City area.

The “Hy-Vee High School Game of the Week” will continue to occupy its normal time slot on Friday nights at 7 p.m. and will highlight a variety of spring sports from across the Kansas City area. In addition, “Honda High School Roundup” will recap all the local high school sports action on Fridays at 10:30 p.m.

Also featured in primetime this spring is “Metro Pro Wrestling,” a local Kansas City based professional wrestling show with new episodes each Saturday at 11 p.m.

The network’s flagship daily sports news and highlight show, “Metro Sports Zone,” will continue airing live at 10 p.m. every night with all the biggest local sports news of the day.
