Time Warner Cable Named Multichannel News 2008 Operator of the Year

New York, NY – September 26, 2008 –Time Warner Cable has been chosen by Multichannel News as their 2008 Operator of the Year.  The magazine, published by Reed Business Information, will solute the Company in the print and online edition of the September 29, 2008 issue. 

Time Warner Cable, according to Multichannel News, is being highlighted specifically for standing out as a successful launcher of innovative video services; for its competitive strength in key market territories; and for the successful positioning of itself as a strong, stand-alone public company from its parent company this year.

“Our consistently strong performance is a testament to the remarkable work that all Time Warner Cable employees do every day.  Likewise, Operator of the Year is an honor that also is to be shared equally by all 46,000 of our employees,” said Time Warner Cable President and CEO, Glenn Britt.

This is Time Warner Cable’s second time winning the Operator of the Year award. The company also received this honor in 2004.
