TIME WARNER CABLE NAMES MATTHEW ZELESKO SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, WEB SERVICES AND TECHNOLOGY

(New York, NY) – Time Warner Cable has named Matthew Zelesko, Senior Vice President, Web Services & Technology. He will report to Michael Hayashi, Executive Vice President, Architecture, Development and Engineering. Zelesko will be responsible for leading the Web Services group and developing strategy for all web systems, connected devices, and associated technologies. His group will manage the development of services in support of Time Warner Cable’s residential, commercial and marketing portals, cross-platform utilities, and the TWCable TV product line for connected devices.

“As Time Warner Cable embraces more and more new platforms such as tablets and Smart TVs, our customers can enjoy a more dynamic experience with our services and we are able to respond more quickly to customer feedback to better improve the customer interface,” said Hayashi. “Matt will be a real asset to the company as we continue developing services.”

Prior to Time Warner Cable, Zelesko held executive and engineering management positions at several media companies, including Joost and Comcast.  As CEO of Joost, he led the company through a restructuring and successful acquisition and had previously served as Senior Vice President of Engineering responsible for Joost’s global technology organization.  Prior to Joost, Zelesko was Vice President of Engineering for Comcast Interactive Media (CIM). At Comcast, he was responsible for the development and delivery of all CIM web properties, including the Comcast portal and Fancast. 

Zelesko graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Cornell University and has a Master of Science from Stanford University.
