Charlotte, NC (June 29, 2010) – If a 4th of July celebration or beach trip aren’t in your summer plans, Time Warner Cable will bring the excitement to you! Digital Cable customers can experience a spectacular fireworks display with patriotic music and a visit to the beach without getting sandy feet!
Fireworks, Fireworks Patriotic and Carolina Waves are available on Carolina On Demand, channels 199 and 1047. They are located in the ‘All New’ tab under ‘Seasonal’.
The beach scene takes you straight to Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina where you’ll hear the sound of crashing waves and see images of children playing in the water and kites in the sky. There are two different versions of fireworks; One with a superimposed flag and patriotic music, the other with the natural popping sound of fireworks.
“These scene setters are a simple and easy way for our customers to be a part of their favorite summer pastimes at a time that is convenient for them,” says Jason Lockhart, Carolina On Demand manager, Time Warner Cable. “Time Warner Cable’s Holiday Yule Log was the number one viewed item on Carolina On Demand in 2010. We expect these summer scene setters to be just as well received among our customers,”
Carolina On Demand is Time Warner Cable’s award winning On Demand channel bringing Carolina-oriented programming into the homes of more than one million customers. At Carolina On Demand, Time Warner Cable digital customers have the ability to watch programming on their schedule at no additional charge.
